I'm routing the battery cable from the trunk to the starter on my 68 Road Runner 383 four speed. I ran it from the trunk along the driver's side (inside) following the wiring harness for the tail lights.

Purchased a new lite-weight starter from MoparOnlinePerformance for around $250. It took a very long time before it finally arrived. There was no paperwork at all in the shipping box. When I got it, it was obvious the box inside the box which contained the starter had been opened and resealed...
There's been a lot of car names over the years but, without a doubt, "Road Runner" has got to be the coolest name ever for a car! (Yes I know I'm preaching to the choir ;))

The 383 in my 68 has this stamped on the block: E 383 then below that 7 8 2
nothing else. No HP markings. Does that mean it's not an original RR engine?
The E indicates its out of a 69 if I am decoding correctly.
