You could try here - https://8774paint1.com/ I am doing the entire white interior of my 70 RR. The problem is that there are color variations with all the different parts - headliner, door panel, seat covers, etc...So which do you match it to? In your case you might want to match to the door...
M&H is what I have on mine. Everything seems to look ok and I would buy again. Customer service is also good.
I tested and matched all the connections old versus new per the wiring diagram. All good. When testing, I put 12V to the rear light harness and had a short in the left parking light. I...
Also a few really good You Tubes if you haven't already done this job. I did mine a year ago and there was an E Body column being rebuilt on You Tube. Very helpful.
Anybody have experience with AMD's door and QTR window glass. I have heard the curvature on some glass doesn't match the originals. Wanted to make sure first before buying.
Thanks.
My roller assemblies on my '70 RR Hardtop are frozen. Started looking at it and is pretty easy to take them apart to clean and lubricate. The main issue is the flat plate that secures the ball stud and the spring clip. It is held on by two rivets. If you grind the rivet heads off and punch out...
I have a '70 RR hardtop and was missing the SS trim between the qtr glass and door glass. This piece actually mounts on the door glass. I bought a L&R trim from a salvage yard last week. As luck would have it, I found the ones that came with the car when the package arrived.
I am not saying the...
The only issue with plan B is that threads don't make a good bearing surface. Although in real life, how often will this P. brake be used in a year. That is why they used a solid pin from the factory or could use a shoulder bolt.
I am dealing with this same issue and unfortunately, my original fastener is long gone. They do not sell replacements that I can find. After some quick measurements, a 5/16" x 7/16" long shoulder bolt will do just fine. Add a 1/4 -20 nylon lock nut on the other end. Should be plenty of room...
'69s don't have the clutch safety switch like the 70s and therefore wouldn't have this hole. Be lucky you don't have that. It is a PITA and $$ to rebuild.
May have been the last hole that the line worker drilled before the supervisor saw it. I can see the guy's face who goes to install the clutch switch wire and sees the hole in the wrong spot. Who knows, maybe they were used to see modifications and was no big surprise.
I like the pun. Hole...
Looks like I may have the only '70 RR with the clutch switch wire hole between clutch boot and speedo grommet. Every one elses is above the speedo grommet. Does that make mine more valuable?
Ok thanks. My plant is also St Louis and not sure why the hole is in a different position. Might remain a mystery for ever. Needless to say, I will use that hole for the clutch switch.
There was another pic I saw of a '70 Charger built in Feb '70. He had the same hole as B5. Mine must have been built on Monday morning......:( My plant was in St. Louis.
I guess the question is if the Clutch safety switch was a mid year intro in '70 or was installed the entire year. I heard...
