I swear I used to see them for sale now all I can find are the rallye speedometers. Mine is out of wack. I pulled it out and the coil attached to the needle that I assume should be held in place once calibrated isn't... So the needle just flops around. I saw a couple places online that will...
Dad and I will be there. ether Friday evening- Saturday night or Saturday-Sunday depending on work. I really wanted to bring my car this year but its still not worthy...
Well according to the dyno 626hp/640tq.. I'm sure the 8 3/4 would be fine on the street but I am afraid of what may happen if it hooks on the track with slicks. If I didn't need two different length driveshafts I would run the 8 3/4 until it broke (if it broke) and then worry about a dana... But...
So I've been busy getting the 498 ready to drop into my satty but I've started to get worried about breaking my 8 3/4 rear and wondering about other options. Since the rear still needs rebuilt, a suregrip and gears... I'm looking at more then a grand to have it rolling and started to wonder if I...
All depends on what you want. I wanted to drag race and run around town like a bat out of hell. I found a freshly rebuilt 383 to replace my 318 satellite, but than decided that wasn't going to be enough ponies.. So I bought a 440 instead to get the power I wanted out of it and then while the 440...
Good point, it has Manual drums all around lol. I'll probably have to look into a disk conversion or something for the front. Considering it has a 318 I'm guessing it has 10" but I never measured.
I'm sorry that may have helped... Rear gear is up for debate, cam is http://www.compcams.com/Company/CC/cam- ... d=710&sb=0 street/strip and weight I'm not sure, its stock steel with lift off hood. Best bets probably to contact these companies and see what they say. I just wasn't sure if...
I need to get my new engine in my car one of these days and still have a few parts to order... I'm just wondering what brand / companies I should go with?
I still need a converter.. someone said have turbo action build one? How are dynamic converters? They built the tranny if that makes a...
Thats why I suggest replacing your original dash panel with this if you want a new stereo.

I'm drawing a blank on the brand of my stereo, I'll try to take a picture tomorrow to show you how it looks.
I have a new stereo in my car, I ended up buying the face plate from Year One. Makes it look like it came this way. One of my favorite features about the cd player is I can change the color of the buttons and led screen to any color so I choose purple to match the car.
Thanks, I'm not too worried about mileage although every little bit helps but I was just trying to make sure I understood because when I was getting my car inspected earlier this year the guy at the inspection place suggested I put a smaller carb on because it was running rich.
I was checking those out they look nice but don't they require special spacers to fit on most intakes? Not that it matters I was putting a spacer on anyways. The plus side to being a smaller cfm is a little leaner and better mpg?
Trying to figure out which carb to stick on this bad boy of an engine. It had a Demon 850 cfm on the dyno but I'm not sure thats the best for a street/strip combo, so I'm just wondering what you guys think. It is a 498ci stroker 10.5 comp, alum heads, Indy single plane intake. It made 626hp and...
