Hello, my speedometer is not working properly. Do I have to remove the entire gauge cluster to repair this ?

The needle is pegged to the right side, when driving it bounces all over the place.

There is a little spring in there that might be broken

I had to pull the cluster out to repair it, and replace the cable.
