Wooster, Oh
I have an extra 383 block which is taking up space. It was the motor that came in the car when I bought it. It's a 1966 HP block.

It needs work though. The bearings were chewed up when we tore the oil pan off. The crank is included, but will probably need to be turned. It has high compression pistons, maybe 11:1 or so. The block is already taken .030 over, as marked on the pistons. At least 2 cylinders have water damage. I'm really not sure if .010 will clean them up of not.

I think that's it. Basically it's a bare block that will need some work. I'd like to get $300 or so.

Thanks!

If I only had a little extra space and a wife who understood why it was
important to have an engine in the garage for a few years.

Not to mindlessly rant but I was just thinking today how much I'd enjoy
having a 383 to build. Unfortunately, the following equation below would
explain why I would have to pass:

baby + just bought car + wife that doesn't understand hobby = forget it for me.

Good luck, I'm sure it'll go.
