Merry Christmas, all. I thought some of you might enjoy these videos of the London Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Sir Colin Davis performing music from Handel's Messiah. One of the items on my Bucket List is to see a performance of Handel's Messiah live at New York or London, performed by a full orchestra and choir. Hopefully one day...

I have the CD recording from 1993 and every time I listen to it I am amazed by Handel's brilliance - not only in the music but in the way he brings the scriptures together to tell the story of Christ. Simply spectacular.
