Cleaned out the dash...bits and pieces of build sheet...

Removed the glove box to vaccum out about 30+ years of rats nests, and found bits and pieces of the build sheet. :( I guess when a car sits in storage for that long, anything paper is going to get chewed up. Also discovered that about half the wiring and vaccum hoses (A/C) behind the dash have been chewed through. No wonder hardly anything electrical is working right now.

The good news is I found an ignition key laying in the metal dash frame behind the glove box. So I guess thats a bonus.

that's more of a build sheet than I've ever found.

This post gives me hope of finding a build sheet. I found my build for my 71 behind the back seat and was told to look look under the carpet. My 69 has no carpet and I checked the seats with no luck maybe I still have a chance. Tomorrow is my day off and I know what I'm going to be doing now.

I checked the headliner as well..no luck. I think I've found pecan shells throughout the car than anything. I've found them inside the hood, in the dash, under teh seats, in the trunk...you name it and I've found pecan shells there. I guess I could go through the pounds of rats nests I vacuumed up and try to painstakingly tape the broadcast sheet pieces all together in one piece. But each piece averages the size of a pea. :)
