Me too and the worst part about it is that you would think that FIAT would know the North American market and the world market and how the competition just loves to make things up for acronyms......can we say Fix It Again Tony. I already have a few for FCA........F*#king Clueless Ad agency, F*#king Chrysler Again, F*#king Confusing A symbol or where's the F*#king Crossbar in the A or is that an upside down V?.......and then the competition chimes in with F*#king Crappy Automobiles, and Forever Costing A lot, Fit Car Again................so much for foreigners really knowing the North American market. If they really knew the North American market they would make and sell our number 1, 2, and 4 leading selling vehicles in Europe but that will never happen as it is a totally different market over there and not one of them has figured it out.

I haven't seen the Pentastar for a while now. Every new "Chrysler" has that damn sheep head on it. I like it on the hood of my truck, but not the grill, steering wheel, anywhere else. When it comes time for a new(er) car, for the first time I'm not sure it will be a Chrysler.

At the end of the day this is all courtesy of Obama and his forced marriage/takeover. Fiat no more understands the American car market then Daimler did. Oh how I wish we could go back in time slap Lee Iacocca and convince the Chrysler Corp board to make Bob Luntz CEO over that jackass Bob Eaton.

It feels like that whole 'rewriting history' thing Ms. Obama bragged about doing. We're all just frogs in a frying pan.

Plymouth is gone. The Pentastar is gone. The Dodge name will probably be phased out down the road.

I think that the Hellcat is Fiat's way of keeping the faithful from jumping ship. (at least they threw us a bone with a lot of meat on it)

But we don't own the company. They do. Not much can be done other than to watch the slow demise. Ma Mopar has remarried and it's hard for us to accept the ugly new step relatives as kin. But in less than another generation the name changes will become little more than a footnote in the history books.

Yeah, I hate to see it go too. But I think that the only guys who really care are those of us who grew up with it and understand it's symbolism. Anyone who buys these cars these days most likely never knew what it meant or even would give a damn if they did.

Dodge is already halfway gone. Have you seen a new Dodge truck lately? Nope, they're Ram Trucks now. Pretty sure my '04 Intrepid is the newest mopar for me.

I'm pretty sure the ram emblems that are appearing on all the Mopars combined with the references to the trucks as rams instead of Dodges makes the direction things are going obvious.

Daimler order the star to not be used anymore, even tried to take it off headquarters but after evaluating cost they left it. lol Dodge is still Dodge My 14' Durango says Dodge right up front. We need the Pentastar to remain in print at minimum. If your on Facebook I started a page just for this cause it now has 5709 likes which means there are 5709 people out there that are not happy the Pentastar is going away, if enough join up we maybe able to convince FCA to leave it in print. Come join the anarchy and be heard just like going to a all mopar car show. #savethepentastar
