I have a 69 RR that was a 4 speed, and will be an auto. My question is how could I use the existing hole in the floor to mount a floor shifter? Please share your ideas on how to use what is there? or what you did to mount your shifter.

Hello Tom. Mine had an auto in it. They had put the shifter on the hump but was a bad job have heard that some shifter's have a cable to it. Look into Classic industries do you have a console or not. Also summit racing parts. Hope this helps. Russ. :usflag:

The floor shifter should have one maybe two rods to connect it to the side of the tranny, less linkage than a column shifter
