Well ricks-RR pointed out to me that the trunk on a 69 had stainless steel molding on it. After looking at other pic's I don't see it on other car's. Dose any one know where to get this molding. Also did the 69 runner have this molding on it. Was this a special order piece when buying the car. Thanks for info. Russ.

69 Road Runner had no trim on deck lid. Sattilite had trim that went around the indented area on the back, and Sport Sattilite and GTX had an insert that bolted to the deck lid in that area. Also the holes on the Sattilite deck lid for the Plymouth script is different than the Road Runner deck lid.

Well going to weld the holes up. That is what I thought the trunk was from a different car that I have. It has holes for the trim. So thank you all for the info. Russ.

I bought my trunk from the ordinal owner of the car .he asked the dealer about it and they said that that's the way it came to the dealership . I wish I got the fender tag from the car . he told me that the car was in the show room floor when he bought it . I was going to fill the holes in to but after looking at the color the trim broke up all the white. he still has the car but I don't know how to get ahold of him . I have seen them on satellites waxed 2017 5.jpg
