Do check your fuel hoses! I filled the bird up yesterday and when I got home and parked in the garage, I noticed fuel dripping from under the tank. I crawled under the car to inspect and I noticed a wet spot on the rubber hose that connects the hard line from the tank to the one that feeds the fuel pump. I reached up to feel the clamps and the hose nearly disintegrated in my hand! Full tank---gas spilling out like crazy!! You can guess my panic:eek:! I did get a new section of hose in and repaired the situation. The gas burned my skin on my arm and back as I must be sensitive or allergic.
This must have been caused by a combination of old hose and the new gasoline (alcohol).
Don't want this to happen to any of you!
