gear indicater

I have a problem with the part on the steering column where the car is shifted..Automatic 727
The gear indicater part is very loose. I don't know if anyone has had this problem or how to fix it.Had it apart but don't know if there is a part missing or what. Do they sell a kit to repair this problem or where i can go on the internet to get information..Thanks Bruce

when you had it apart was their a screw missing or lose. Some one here had the same problem maybe they will chime in and let you know how they fixed it. Their is a U Tube video on fixing the shift column indicator. It may not be a roadrunner but should be close to the same problem. It is some loose screw's that they put lock tight on them and tighten. Hope this will help you with your problem.

Hey bschomske. Did you find the problem. With the shift indicator. May be you have not had time to work on it. Have looked around and don't see any thing related to your problem on the old web. Wish you luck buddy.
