New Lower Radiator Support

Update on the car.

It's still at the body shop. Been there since November. Was supposed to take two weeks. Imagine that.

Anyway. We've been working on repairing what I'd consider to be light collision damage to the driver side front. No determinable damage to the frame but the inner finder and core support needs some work. We tried to save the lower radiator support but unfortunately it did not work out. Ended up going with an AMD piece shown in the pics below. My body guy was impressed with this part. Said it is nice thick metal and it installed super easy.

Hopefully soon, he'll finish squaring up the front and checking the finders and hood for proper fitment. The engine compartment and basically the whole front end will be painted.

Man! Am I looking forward to seeing some fresh F5 paint!!!

Looking good. Yea I started body work a year ago and been applying filler and seam sealer to the car for over two month's now. Still a lot to do. Good luck can't wait to see the color. Russ.
