Emergency flasher location

Ok, I've tried searching but to no avail, can anyone tell me where the EMERGECY flasher is located on my 1969 Road Runner? I've located the turn signal flasher and tested it while finding out my directional switch is bad, but cannot for the life of me locate the Emergency flasher as it works but is irratic. It's the silent type too so listening for it does no good. I wish there was a component located for our cars.Anyone?

Yes what they said. My wiring is in a box up stair's. Maybe one day all this stuff will get put back in the car.

Thanks guys, with everyone's help (especially cbuster), I was able to locate my emergency flasher right away. It 's opposite where the turn signal flasher is on the other side of the steering column. Unless you get way under the dash( or you know where to look), it's very hard to see. Thanks again to everyone.
