When do you start producing new '69 fenders that actually fit? Trunk lids for same are needed as well...

I could not get the aftermarket fenders to fit the way I wanted, so I put them back in the box. I'm using my old ones and I needed a headlight bucket for half of it. I got the idea watching a guy on utube doing metalwork. I'm gonna get the fenders media blasted. My stump is Missouri black oak! I'll have to sleep on the fenders and trunk lid!:rofl::rofl:

Yes oak wood is good for making mold's see you must have heated the metal to form it. Top of stump look's burned. Learn a lot from U Tube. Too bad you can't make the fender's work. My passenger side was good have a donner for the driver side. Have checked through out the build and look's as if every thing is going to line up. Dmartin had problem's with his maybe PM him and see if he has an answer. Keep us posted.

No I did not heat the metal. I just beat it with a big ball peen hammer. I had just cut the block of wood off of the tree and it had been raining a lot here and when I beat the metal it turn the stump black.

That sure sound's like a lot of work but it look's good. Wish you could get the fender's to work. At one point I have talked to a few body men while working on this one. Just to get some ideas. Some have helpful information other's don't say a lot. But it don't hurt to ask.

I give up on the new fenders . I spent too much time and got nowhere. I just put them in the box and going to forget about them. today I took my old fenders down to have them media blasted and I'm going to use them. they fit so much better and the grill goes right into place so it'll be OK. Ijust didn't like the after markets. I'm going to vinegar the fenders after I get them back and apoxy and undercoat them. Take care Russ.

Sound's like a plan Big block. I would bed line the inner's on them after the epoxy is applied. That is what I will do to insure they are tough enough to with stand the ware and tare they have to take. Keep it up you will get their also. Russ.
