I need your suggestions. I want to reduce weight and improve handling. I don’t want to relocate any mounting points this includes the upper shock mount. I am ok with a suspension that eliminates the torsion bar, however every other component needs to mount as the factory does. So far many of the k frames relocate the shocks upper mounting position.
It may be the best way to achieve my goals would be to simply replace upper and lower control arms and the brakes. Better handling braking less weight.

Think I have seen other members in classic industry's to do what you are looking for. Can't say what would be involved in swapping out would take.

I know Chris (moparchris) has some experience with aftermarket K-Members and some of their idiosyncrasies. Maybe he'll see this and jump in.
