I'm new to the Road Runner group, but not new to Mopars.

Hello all. I don't have a Road Runner, but love them. I do have a 1969 Charger R/T, 440, 4-speed, F6, V21 car that I've had since July 26, 1983 (when I was 16). I've been into Mopars and CNC Programming and CNC machining most of my life. I've been working on "carved art" where I take images of people's cars or emblems, or whatever, and develop artwork to carve in woods, Aluminum, Plastic, or Steel. I just recently started doing designs for Road Runners. These are computer renderings for now, but I'll post images of actual prototype carves later on. I am still in the development stage of all this so pricing is not available yet. I'm just getting a feel to see if people would be interested in things like this. These are 4.485 diameter Aluminum coasters / Christmas ornaments that hang or stick to the refrigerator with magnets that are in the back of the coaster. Looking for feedback.

Very cool,do the cars come in red :)
I'm working on colorizing these as well. I need to do some prototypes to see how they'll work. I'll post when I do prototypes. For now, here's a picture of one of my first test carves that I did for my Charger.

X2.

Just a thought - make the exhaust tips look more like the ones on the Charger...
Or take it one step further and put Challenger tips on. I actually have Challenger tips on my 69 R/T Charger. Previous owner put them on back in 1983 and I left them on. I like them.

Very cool stuff, welcome from North Dakota!
So, you just need a picture of the car to do this!
What is the size of the item when completed?
Thanks

Yes, I develop my artwork mostly from photographs of cars and sometimes drawings. The item you see here is 4.485 in diameter x 5/16 thick. It has a hole at the top to hang and magnets in the back to put on the fridge. I call it a Christmas ornament coaster/fridge magnet. I hope to develop enough art work to make key chains, these coasters, custom valve covers, air cleaner lids, custom shop plaques, etc. I'll post more images of other things I've done when I get home. I don't have the pictures here with me at work. I'm also working on licensing with Chrysler....and probably Warner Bros. if I use the Road Runner character.

hey lee how much do you sell them for
I haven't worked up any pricing yet. I'm still in my design and prototyping phase. I'm getting ready soon to do some prototype carves and then try coloring them. I want to make sure my process works before I get too carried away. I'll post images of the actual carves and coloring after I do them.. Then I'll cost it out to see what these will run.

OK, I have a request from all you Road Runner fans. I'm trying to find some really nice, straight on rear shots of the 1970 Road Runner, 1971 Road Runner, 1972, 1973, & 1974. I have an idea for a really cool collage of Road Runners, but I need images similar to the 69 shot at the top of this thread. Let me know if you are able to help.
