Proposing to install 275 x 60 x 15 Tires on 15 x 8 Magnum 500's. Anyone have this set-up ? Do I have to be concerned about setback or do they clear OK?

Thanks

Several members have used that set-up over the years. 4.25" or 4.5" backspacing is ideal.

I have that set up on the back of my car with 4.5 inch backspacing, what ACME A12 said is spot on.

So what is run on the front for back spacing. The guy I bought mine from changed the rims out for another set of Plymouth rims and they rubbed in the front had to put spacers behind them to roll the car. Just asking.

Ok so what do you do for the spare tire. That use to be a problem back in the day for me with 8's on the back and 7 on the front. The back's where a little taller so had to drive home a little slower. With miss matched tire size. Tanks for the info. If I ever get to the point of putting tires on the beast.

Hello Martin all I could find was 4.25 in Cragar mags. In the 15 inch for the rear. Some say use the 4.50 on the rear in an 8 inch rim. Russ.
