have the convertible project in the body shop...so working on all the reassembly needed stuff. This was in the trunk when I got the car. Obviously holds a 6x9 speaker. If this belongs to a B body convertible where would it mount?

Looks similar to the defogger can but not quite for back wind shield. We have a member here that has a convertible hope he knows. You might try to look through reference material here at or near the bottom of forum page. Wish ya luck. Russ.

C-body defogger or speaker piece. Look up the part number.

Thanks big John. I did. Yup, looks like it’s for C body coupe. Only odd part I got with the pile of parts.

Yep Jack R. Something that could be sold on E bay. Or maybe someone thought of a way to use it in the restoration. I did get a few donner doors but think they would not work looks like they for a 68 instead of the 69. The only thing that will work is the parts out of the door for window's and the vent window. They where rotted out just as bad as the one's that came on the car. Have fun buddy. Russ.
