Don’t believe they were avail. in ‘69. The brakes were oversized drums on front, smaller on rear and nothing powered. Too, never cared about stopping back then. Maybe someone can update my thoughts of options? It was a Plymouth Belvedere, the lowest priced car of their lineup.

Hey Bob my wife has been trying to fatten me up for 40 years and all that has happen. Have gone from a 30 inch waist to 32. Not much progress on her part. She say she hates me I can eat what ever I want and nothing happens. But am getting a little belle. Think it is gravity working on me.

Hello dodgey68 Their are a lot of supply places on inter net . Try Summit racing also to compare prices. Later on I may switch to power brakes but for now just going to roll with what the car came with. My legs are getting bad and hip's so may need them later. The only thing when the power booster goes then it is even harder to make it brake. Have replaced the diaphragm on many a car and it is no fun. Russ.

Several options for power brakes. One is vacuums powered, another uses hydraulic fluid from power steering, can use a electric vacuum pump if engine doesn’t make enough vacuum. So there are options.
