Yup, the light green metallic and dark green metallics. Maybe it was me but thought in certain light conditions the light green appeared a light- off shade grey. When I first looked at mine thought I was buying as a light smoke grey metallic, was surprised. No, wasn’t doing drugs back in those days at all.

Rich - you're very new here so you don't get all of the subtle digs that some of us old-timers take at one-another...

Mr. Green Jeans is my good buddy Basketcase. I was having a little bit of fun with him and edited his "F8" post. Then after he read it I re-edited it to make it appear as though nothing had ever happened. However, he knows exactly what happened - which is what makes it funny and explains my hallucinating comment. Maybe this all makes more sense to you now.

the few original member of this site...back when it was a '69 only site, have known each other for years. Some of us have met face to face. We have had a color war going since then. Everyone knows, but not all will admit, that GREEN is the best color. But most are pansies that pledge their allegiance to blue. There are even a few Reds here (Damn Commies). And when someone asks a question, it may take us 20 pages, and we will have covered every subject under the sun, but we get the question answered. It is all good ball busting fun. No spelling Nazis here.

Sadly I need to keep reminding Dave that yellow is just much cooler than his utilitarian run of the mill green. :mob:

In all fairness, I gave yellow a good try, but had to back to original and the best......

pick a better color than something like that drab f8. Plymouth had some really great choices, like a bronze color etc that are just not seen at a car show and you will stand out much better than just another green car!!!

Here's a thought, Section the car off into 24 different segments and paint each segment one of the 24 colors offered by Plymouth applicable to the Roadrunner in 1969. That way, you'd make everyone happy on this Forum and have a completely unique car. But of course saving the largest section and most prominently placed for B7. F8 can have the passenger side lower rear quarter, or maybe the inside of the glove box.
