I'm collecting parts for my project and the original center link has a couple marks in it. I have a couple other ones with the same part number 1858015. There is another number which starts with DF. All three bars have different numbers. Is this a forging date? The original is DF71, the other two are 54 and 21. The car is a '70 V code roadrunner rag. Any ideas what these numbers might be?

Thanks Russ. I'm a carburetor kind of guy and am still trying to figure out how to log in on my phone. Never mind how to post pics. I've got lots on the phone so I'll get the grandkids to help with that. I have owned this car for 40 years and am just now getting to do it.

Rare beast. I recall that you mentioned in another thread that it was a 727 car, making it one of only fourteen produced. You don't have a lot of company in that classroom. How's it equipped?

Lime Mist metallic with a white bench column shift. Front discs too. Pretty plain Jane otherwise. Early build. August 22/69

That is awesome man. Good to see it did not get crushed during the 80s. That is where a lot of the car's and other's went. Now every thing is either fiber glass or plastic. It is amazing that the old metal held up that well. Are you just getting started or have you gotten farther than the pic's. Good luck their is a lot of work to bring these car's back to life. Russ. :thumbsup2::thumbsup2::thumbsup2:
