I'm new to 'For RR's.'
I just purchased my old car after selling it 35 years ago.
I'm now wondering if it was one of the first convertible RR's made in '70?
RM27N0G100023
I read where a RR with a VIN number ending in 15 was the first RR made
(it was a hemi) The St louis plant made belvederes, satellites and RR's
sequentially I believe, so is there a chance the first 22 cars were belvederes
satellites and hardtop RR's? and then my car? I don't know if there is a way to
find out.

It was all original. At 20 yrs old I thought it would be a good idea to paint it orange and put a black roof on it. I also worked on the engine installing 2 four barrels etc. I owned it for 6 years and after 35yrs, I just tracked it down and bought it back a month ago. (almost a barn find)
It will need a full restoration. I think I'll go back to the bronze color. I'm sure it will take a year to do.
I'm just figuring out how to upload some pictures-hope they work out.

AZ Desert,
That's just it, you drive em you fix em. Within 1000 mile of my "Finished" car I had a condenser in the distributor fail and a voltage limiter in the dash go out taking two gauges with it. The voltage limiter is a story. It was Sunday at Mopars at the Strip the car was awarded 1st place in the judged b-bodies and I turned the key to trailer it and go home when smoke comes up out of the dash. Before I could even think about what had happened the whole Ramcharger team who had been doing seminars about the old days walked up on me. I talked to them for about 20 minutes about the car and the history of the team the whole time thinking WTF happened, will it start, will I need help getting it on the trailer. Next up was Scott Smith an OE judge we talked some he suggested getting an OE inspection the following year. Well it did start to my delight.

Owned it most of my life but never had the stars aligned enough to get it done. Things are coming around now. I have a good bodyman on board and hope to have it done for next year.

:rofl:Smoke from the dash. I know it was not funny at the time. These cars are not the only ones with bad wiring and limiter's. Some of the new truck's and cars have gone up in flames. They have cheapened up on the wire sizes and tried to use the new style battery's. Also with all the electronic gizzmoes. At least it could be fixed. Yes working on something you drive is a consistent job of replacing part's one type or another.

IMG_2575 (Edited).JPG IMG_2564 (Edited).JPG IMG_2572 (Edited).JPG I'm just east of Toronto.
Lots of Mopars in the area.
-still wondering how to find out the production run and if there are any Roadrunners
with a VIN number from 00001 to 00022 from the St Louis plant. So 'doctor dodge' your car was Aug 1969?
I've included a few pictures of us in the 70's when we bought our cars used for $1000 to $2000.IMG_2587.JPG View attachment 28995 IMG_2567 (Edited).JPG IMG_2568 (Edited).JPG
