Decided to use shopline acrylic enamel with a catalyst and thinner on the interior. It was a heck of a job for a 65 year old one man show!!!

tomorrow we have to go to grandparents day at school with the grandkids for a little while and then after we get out of there We have to go to the funeral and go there for a few hours. the painting was A killer on my knees and my whole body! I am sure glad I am not older trying to do this. at our age it is rough, I don't see how older people could do this, there's just not enough room in that car rolling around like a dog. Had the beer before I even cleaned the spray guns.
:thumbsup::thumbsup:
now I have to spray the trunk in a few days if I get a whole day to work on it I am going to try to make the trunk a basecoat Clear job if it works out. then I will start on the engine bay. holding that spraygun just kills my back when you reach out with it in your hand. I am sure your back hurts too when you spray. hope you get your doors done and they look good! take care, your buddy, Raymond

Hey now I’m only 63!
Yea your just a kid. :poke: I get that from all the older guy's I know but I tell them I am a high mileage kid. Like the guy that bought two 57 Chevys in 57 one sat in the garage and the other one he drove every day. That's Me. They don't make part's for my model any more. :lol:

He has a midget helping him. :lol: Not really that is a good question. I sprayed bed liner in mine but had a gun with wands to get into tight places. So tell us how you did it Big Block. :thumbsup2:

When I was spraying on airplanes we had to spray in the wings where the fuel was contained and we had to spray back in corners and crevices and all kinds of places you think a spraygun wouldn't get in but you had to learn to use your gun to make it work. I turn down the air pressure and put it on squirt and cut the fluid back to reach some of the corners that was far away then after I thought I had them pretty good I turned the air pressure up and screwed my fan out where it would make a big fan and stuck the head of the gun in the door and went up and down with it. I have an old Devilbiss with a 30 head on it that I've had forever. :thumbsup::thumbsup2: that is what i used to spray inside the door.
