So what have you got to do to the inside. Like the dash and steering wheel. Sorry to say I had rust every where and had to paint it all inside and out. Glad to see you moving along. Russ.

Yes I am with you on that. Thinking we are in the same boat after the car is painted. This one piece at a time is slow. Russ.

Put trunk seal on yesterday, what a pain compared to the E body and A bodies of done before but turned out great with a little patience.

Yep its right, the way it is on the bottom there's a lip that goes around the inside of the lip. Hey I wanted to ask you about your leaf springs, I read that you put the 6 leaf springs with the 2 1/2" arch how does your car sit with those? I was thinking about going the same route and getting rid of those long shackles. Thanks Anthony

IMG_0101.JPG IMG_0102.JPG IMG_0103.JPG This is with 8 inch rim's 275/R60.15x 8 inch. Got them from general sprig. I like the lift have the normal shackle on it stock size. It may crouch a little more when car is loaded. Had to put four cement blocks in the trunk to put the shock's on they are fully extended. After storing the springs for a while they had started to rust between spring so I ordered the plates that go between the spring's. broke them down painted them and put them back together with the plates between the spring's now I am happy. Hope you like the Idea. Beat's air shocks and longer shackle's. Russ.

Yep I cut my trunk seal too short and will order another one. Thanks for the info. After looking on the net see that it glues flat on the tail panel and not up against it as I thought. The rim's I bought for the car to roll forward in the paint booth. Will get another set for the front for now till car is finished. Bart rims from Summit racing. Will drive the car with them till I get the Cragar mags I want. Do me a favor and post a few more pic's of the trunk seal installed. Especially the bottom tail panel. Russ.

working today will post up pics when I get home around 5:30. Used the soft seal and didn't have to cut anything, just had to bring the seal in the house and hung it from a door to let it warm up and stretch out .

same size tires I plan on going with still debating what rims I'm using. You definitely have plenty of room with those springs. Thanks for posting pics.

Thanks for the pic's Anthony hope I did not bother you. The spring's I thought where the rite way to go. It will probably be a little stiff in the rear end but it is a muscle car after all not a caddie or a Lincoln. Like I said had to load four cement blocks in the trunk to get it to crouch enough to hook up the shock's. But the car is bare rite now and not much weight in it at all. Your on your way buddy keep us in the loop on the build. Like to see what other guy's are doing to their runner's. Russ. :thumbsup2:
