I'm running a 904 from a Cordoba and 8 3/4 rear differential with 3.55 gear ratio and I need the correct color gear drive to use in my 65 Plymouth barracuda fastback gasser project. I have a black gear drive right now but i don't know how many teeth it has

I will probably need both the yellow 33 teeth and the green 34 teeth just to be sure cuz i think my tires are either 27.4 or 27.9

I just looked at a Brewers and they have a helluv a lot better prices on the speedo gear than I’ve seen other places. Now if I could only get under my RR to see what is in it vs what I need to order (currently shows about 10 mph over what I’m running).

this is what i have and need 34 teeth gear/ green or 33 teeth which i think is yellow
my tire size is 27 inches and i am running 3.55 gear ratio in my 8 3/4 rear diff

Did you look at the post 69hemibeep posted. Got to that site and that will help figure out which one you need. Look's like your torn with the tire size. Look's like closer to yellow one. By the chart. Your in between the 26 inch tire and the 28 inch tire. The yellow would make it slower by some but close.

This is the new style "short" pinion. Go on ebay and buy the adapter for the long pinion( $15-20 used). This will greatly expand the availability of the pinion and allow you to use the thread on cable.

i have a new cable from dick's speed-o-tach shop that goes into the gear housing in my pix. and they told me that i should use stock setup/oem parts for that transmission
