Yes knowledge is a good thing and these guy's have plenty of it along with experience working on these car's. Nothing like hand's on knowledge. Being a mechanic minded person have skinned plenty of knuckles and shed blood and tear's working on vehicle's. But someone knowing the rite things and where they go is a big help. What year runner are you looking to get.
A 69 or 70. I don’t want to pull the trigger until I feel fully prepared though. I know plenty will pop up that I won’t see coming but I’m in no rush. It’s more of a feel feel good/sentimental project than anything. Something to tinker on over the years to come while I enjoy working on my other ride.

Cjarrett; long running joke and abuse about my hat that some of the guys have seen me wear at the nats. They apparently seem to feel that my poor slandered and abused hat is somewhat less than respectable and do not miss the occasional chance to discuss its looks. My response however is to continue to wear if for no other reason than to spite them. :icon_fU:

Well I do have spare testosterone if anyone needs it just don’t ask me for any limbs. After a couple tours in the Navy and a motor cycle accident I take just as many pain meds as you lol. Maybe I can use some of these pins and screws for the car? Hmmm

Welcome aboard. Fake folks out, leave the hood closed and run a 225 six with a tf and Bonneville gears. Super easy on fuel, will run forever, negligible maintenance!:beep::thumbsup:
