Gas tank and shocks

Looking good their Big Block. What did you put between the gas tank and the trunk pan. They sell some thin liner a tractor supply Like rubber mat. Thinking of using it in steed of a piece of tar paper that was in the car when taking it apart. :thumbsup2::thumbsup2::thumbsup2:

I used a piece of rubber like foam mat that was made for above the gas tank. I already had it so I finally got to use it. thanks guys for the comments.:thumbsup::thumbsup2:

Good Idea to use something like that. It should keep it from rubbing the paint off the trunk pan. Tar paper will brake down and start to hold water. Also it will get rubbed through.
The stouter the mount of the tank the better off you are I think. :thumbsup:
