After all the post got my Wiper motor and gear box out. Tested the motor as to diagram I found on the web. Was not reading any thing on the two post like it said. So pulled the motor shell off and the commutator looked dirty. So got my can of contact cleaner out and some 3000 girt paper and cleaned it. Checked the brushes and to each post they where hooked to and every thing read out good. Put a little grease on the end shafts and the gear that goes into the gear box. Hooked up the wires like it said to do and nothing happened. So tested each post to the shell ground and the high speed read and the low post read. Grounded the shell under the resistor bolt then hit the high speed post and it worked. then wired the resistor in line and powered up the slow speed and it worked. To my surprise their is a ground strap under the bolt spacer. Now cleaning it up to get it painted while painting black on part's. No pic's but happy it worked. Something I DONT HAVE TO BUY!!!!!!! Russ.

It make you feel good not to shell out more money for another part. Their is so much to buy my switches on the dash need new part's also. One more thing down. Hope to see you driving your runner before long. Every one ask me when you going to drive that car. I tell them when you see me go by you will know it is done. :thumbsup2:

There’s one thing that fell in your favor. Just squirrel that wiper motor money away as there will be something else you’ll need it for.

Haha... I hear ya. When I was having the engine rebuilt, my UPS guy started asking what I was working on.
