Looking good. Built a new Dana 60 for my Challenger over the winter. Narrowed it, moved springs inboard, lightweight spool, 40 spline gun drilled axles. Still staying leaf spring. Caltracs and split mono leafs.

Finally buttoned up my Gearvendors OD to my new-to-me 18-spline. Looks the goods, now just waiting for valve springs so we can bolt it all together and get it back in.

That thing is long. Did you have to put another carrier in under the car. Or dose it just hang off the transmission?

I had to spring for an automatic crossmember (got one from Brewers), slightly different to the manual one in 68. The OD is made to bolt to it without hassle. As for driveshaft, blowing my diff at the track made me reconsider how smart it might actually be to stick a Dana 60 in there, so now thats happening. Once its in - next week hopefully - I can get the car back on its ass and measure the shaft and correct angle etc.
Gearvendors OD definitely not cheap, but definitely impressed with their product, and service. Upon inspecting all the parts, I found I had a coupler missing. I rang the mdirect, and they shipped me another without charge, even though I was more than happy to pay for one. Thats what I call service. Highly recommended.

Nice progress! Great update. I was wondering how this was progressing.

How do you like the twin disc / diaphragm PP set-up?

Love the clutch. Burned up three regular ones before went to it. No problems since
I also found the car a whole lot easier to drive with the twin plate setup. I mean, I had no problem driving the car, but one time I took it into town and got it valet parked, just for a laugh.

The poor guy gave up when he realised the 15-point turn he was attempting to get it round the corner wasnt gonna fly. He gave me back my keys and my $20 haha
