Man oh Man why is it when we want something we go a head an buy it. We don't play game's. But when we try to sell something It is a song and dance every time. Wish you the best of luck on the second round. May be some one will be a stand up guy this time. I told a friend of mine trying to sell an Old's cutlass. He was asking to little for the car. He was not getting to many replies to the add. So he relisted it at a much higher price and now have had more call's on the car than before. Ask high and you can always come down but never can ya go up. Good luck. :thumbsup2:

Thanks Russ.

My experience with eBay listings; what I've learned so far is that for $25 dollars you can get a 7-day auction with twelve pictures and no reserve price. However, the reality is, the reserve price is still there when the seller prematurely ends the listing when their desired price isn't met. This cost effective no reserve alternative seems to be working out well as case-in-point, within 30-hours of listing, the car has been bid up to $9000.00 dollars. This is doing better than my recent 10-day listing which included a reserve price that I paid $72 dollars for. Lesson learned. Now if the bidders can put their money where their mouth is... That is the BIG question???

best of luck finding a good buyer

No really! I can’t make this stuff up! Looking like I’m getting stiffed a second time on eBay. What a joke! Guess I’ll be keeping the car as people love bidding on it but don’t want to pay for it. Just phenomenal!!!

Have you checked into listing it on Hemmings?

I'll have look into Hemmings. Last night I was looking at AutoTrader Classics and considering it as an option too.

So here is the latest about my ongoing eBay saga... At nearly 48-hours after the listing end this past Monday, the guy finally messaged me and apologized for taking so long getting back to me. He has been an eBay member for less than 5-months and has no purchase history on eBay. He says that he is not good with the internet and had trouble logging into eBay to message me after wining the bid. Okay?!?! Whatever, so it took this long to figure out how to log into your eBay account??? He asked for my phone number to work out the details. So I don't know? He may be legit and follow thorough but not holding my breath. I'm so tired of waiting on people to follow basic rules and do what they're supposed to do. At this point I still don't have my deposit which was due within 24-hours and the full amount is due 24-hours from now. So I've opened up an unpaid item case with eBay for whatever that's worth as I wait for this guy to call me. Fun, fun, fun...

Oh! And the other interesting phenomenon, I sent the four runner-up bidders "Second Chance Offers" to buy the car. I gave them 24-hours to decide if they would buy the car considering they seemed to like it enough to bid on it in the first place. I see they all received and viewed the offer but nobody responded to it. And so you see, it's intoxicating to bid up a car during an internet auction but when responsibility sets in and it's time to actually pay up, the ghost people turn into a fine mist and vanish...

It is a sad day. Maybe their just having fun playing games. I know it is not funny. Sorry for your luck. I think I had mentioned on bidding on something's and the last 8 second's some one sniped me. I don't believe that is a fair practice either. But that is their game. So don't think very high of E bay and how they handle bidding. Wish you luck maybe some one will come along and buy the car out rite.

AZ Desert,
People are buying toilet paper, that's where the money is. Might be some fear as of late with the hysteria being fanned by the news

Haha.... yes, a local Costco ran completely out of toilet paper. Then there was a fight at a supermarket in Australia over one lady having a buggy full of nothing but toilet paper. WTH?

That's one of the perks being married to a Italian women, and being forced into putting in a bidet in our bathroom. If I run out I can just dunk my ass is nice warm water. Clean as a whistle.

Sear's and Roebuck catalog was the thing back in the day. That hung in the out house. Only if kid's had to go back to those times.

Good day !!! I hope you are well and not feeling the effects of this Corona crap. I am very interested in the parts you have. I watched the video and would like to ask if you have a list you could share. I am in the market for a number of those parts you have and would also be very appreciative of a 3 speed wiper setup (motor and switch with harness). You can see my new to me '69 here. I've just dumped $1K into a N96 AirGrabber restoration for it. I can take much of what you have but I'd like it in a list form so I can peruse it without having to stare at the video.

I hope you finally get a buyer. I bought mine on Hemmings and had a very good experience, just a suggestion. Let me know if you're interested and let's do some business!!! Take care and be safe.

Best regards,

Dan Kiewicz
