Looks good Mac. Did you do this? Do you have any cables? What is significant about it being an early build 69? You know that is never going to hit the table at the swap meet right?

You all know I ran into that hood issue of an early 69 runner. So I can see what the difference would be. Nice Mac. To bad I won't be at the swap meet. Might would have wanted it. But as you all know the budget for this car is out of hand. LOL. You guy's have fun and post pic's. :thumbsup2:

Nice job on that. I need to restore mine. I have the one that came off my car and I bought another used one as one side was cracked but the aging of the material has a different look.
When you restored that one did you paint it or anything to get the black back?

they always have a color uniformity problem with the aging. important note on air grabbers and ram chargers is the rivets that hold the halves together, i was able to get the clinching tool custom made so the original look is maintained. i restore heater boxes mostly and do the air grabbers when they present themselves, so i like to keep some of the resto process to myself.

Thanks Mac. That part is on back burner right now but I’ll get in touch as I get closer to needing. Would you do a resto on mine?
And I grew up in Buffalo, still visit a couple times a year....didn’t see your Lancaster location earlier.
