My car was stripe delete with the core blacked out. Some of the real dark colors were skipped

No V21 performance hood treatment if that is what you are referring to as “strip delete”. It does have (yet to come) the 1/4” white reflective stripe below the lower belt moldings. And yes, it had the black out core support from the factory. This was done for a reason and I agree with it. Body color paint behind the grill just does not look right.

Well, we're going down a rabbit hole on this one...

GENERALLY SPEAKING, most people agree that darker colored cars didn't get it - although some still did. The spray pattern will vary from car to car. This is why most people document what they find when they strip their car so they can put it back the way it was. Usually there is no paint on top of the horizontal surfaces because the blackout paint was sprayed from underneath at a roughly 45 degree angle. V21 package had nothing to do with it.

Results may vary... Offer not valid in all states... Check your own mileage for comparison... If you have a dark colored car with blackout or a light colored car with no blackout then welcome to the wonderful world of Ma MoPar. Never say never...

I think the color is a little dark. When parked next to my wife’s car that still has the factory F5 paint, the GTX is noticeably darker than the ModTop. But, no turning back now. I can live with it.

It's hard to tell from the pics Harold, but I'd say it looks pretty close to my car. The formula they used when my car was painted was from someone who had done the research when getting their F5 car done, and it's very close to what I believe is the original paint still in the trunk area.
