Anyone get very annal like me about the history or previous life the car had before you? I've been looking mine over and wondering why there is a factory am radio(not working) but no speakers installed front or rear. It seems somewhat odd to me there is no trace of any leftovers. Looking at the fender tag and VIN indicates it is a real deal RR. Maybe i should leave well enough alone and not open too many cans of worms unless i'm willing to spend considerable time fishing(been waiting to use that line a long time).

Don't look back and look forward as you drive that car. Look at these guy's turning out rest o mod's and see the price they bring. The new age buyers are looking for the amenity's and comforts. So build it like you want it. Russ. :beep:

The resto-mod thing, never been a fan. These cars were great in the day and for my money they still are the best!
I'd take an old one with problems over a new copy cat mopar, but thats me. Just want to close up some loose ends and then just drive it and freak people out....Too fun!

I would not change a thing and keeping this car as original as I can. But when it came to radio and the Ac/heater went with modern stuff. I agree with you on keeping the car as it came form the factory. So take it for a drive and have fun. Russ. :thumbsup2:

Leave the factory am in place for the look and install a hidden modern sound system. Best of both worlds.

Someone along the way kinda fubar’d some dash wiring, might mainly be grounds but discovered their are no speakers front-dash or rear deck. The radio probably is fine just might have no power or ground. Makes one want to gut the current wiring and redo it all. But those would be big $$’s spent.

Thats better than i thought, but of course if some resto shop runs it all and sets it up we might as well triple that. My reason for thinking someone fubar'd under the dash is, i was doing more acclimating to my ride and discovered that the radio antenna is in stalled just has the cable tied up in the fender well. The door switch for the dome light on the right side is gone or not installed, or maybe sitting down near the kick plate. What's next?

I have the original AM Radio in mine, one speaker on the dash. Not much to listen to on AM, and you can't hear it anyway the car is to loud, especially with the top down. My solution was use my cell phone hooked up to Spotify and a portable speaker. No extra holes in the car nor messing with the wires. It's as loud as anyone would need, and can I listen to whatever you want with no commercials.
