Putting my car on a full size U-haul open car trailer. Anybody have experience with putting on a car cover for travel being pulled with their 15ft. Truck? I have a cable that runs under the car from driver door to passenger door that can be pulled snug and locked on. Will the breeze get under it and off she comes?
Thanks!!

If you don't tie it down securely it could come off. The other problem with that is you have to be careful that your straps aren't where they will come in contact with the paint. There will be a lot of buffeting of the cover so if the straps are anywhere near the paint it could damage it. Just look at any flatbed tractor trailer going down the highway with the load covered. You'll see how much the cover and straps are affected by the wind.

That was a thought as well. Probably going to be fine as it will be behind a tall 15ft truck/van,so there will be drafting by the truck. Better than the cover rubbing on the paint.

don't cover it , it'll sand all the corners and scuff the paint anywhere the cover contacts the paint
