Leak getting worse, time to replace. What is the procedure. Can this be done without dropping the 4 speed tranny?

Yes. All I did was drop the oil pan, remove two bolts and the lower part pulls out. You then push the upper seal around the crank till it drops out. Notice the orientation of the round seal when you take it out. It does have a front and back. The original style side seals fit one way. Your choice to stay original but I got a kit from Indy Cylinder Head that uses an aluminum replacement housing and a round side seal. Works great. Watch this episode of Engine Power. Its very interesting and it shows the seal replacement I spoke of. https://www.powernationtv.com/episode/EP2014-12/happy-birthday-hemi
