Hi guys!
Tomorrow we'll change the gear box oil. We'd like you to confirm the capacity of the A-833.
Is that realy 1 gallon?
Cause we found out 4 qts. We guess though that 4qts = 1gallon?
Thanks for your reply

just looked in my operator's manual, it calls for 8 pints, IIRC there are two pints in a quart, which would make it four quarts, or one gallon.

glad to hear it is doing well. make sure if you ever need to pull that transmission you get the right size plug for the tailstock end of the tranny. when you pull the driveshaft if you don't get that plug in fast the mess you just had will just be a teaser. you'll have half of the oil all over you and the floor. It doesn't wash out of the clothes, you just have to throw them away. you do not want to experience how I learned this.

Oups so I guess I didn't understand what you were saying about the new process thing.
Cause yes in fact when we change the oil of the gear box we use that drain plug to get it empty.

Assumptions, assumptions. Oh well, in any case Dave merry Christmas. May you get some nice roadrunner parts this year.

I'll deny ever saying this, but if it's in my stocking Christmas morning, I'll use it.
