I was going to trade an Olds Rocket 88 emblem for his so called Promo model, I didn't remember ever seeing one. I looked those models up on ebay and figured that's what is was, just wanted an experts input.

A 1969 Road Runner promo was never made. There was a 1969 GTX promo, made by JoHan.
Same thing in 1970. JoHan did produce a Road Runner kit for both 1969, and 1970.
The one pictured, is a built kit.

also the hood on promos did not open and was molded shut, and no engine.
