I've always loved the 1970 Air Grabber hood scoop. My question is, is the 1970 hood powerbuldge, needed for clearance or is it just for looks?
I've been thinking of putting this scoop on a flat hood and as you can see on the top picture, the 1969 Air Grabber had quite a bit of clearance. The next two pics are o a 1970 hood.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you, Buck 4B2BE618-BB2C-4C9E-A9F2-2DFB9187AA3F-1351-00000193F7ADD4AE.jpeg F637BFEF-2F69-4542-93C5-72D6E2F335D5-1351-0000019690CC521E.jpeg IMG_5188.JPG

May be that the scoop need's the bulge to move up and down. Check clearance before you do it to a flat hood. Thinking of putting ram air on mine Pic up would be in grill area. Maybe. My charger had ram air on it just a thought. Russ. :beep:
