Have original in-dash tach in 1969 Roadrunner, updated to pro street. MSD advised using PN 8920 to convert signal from new Digital 6AL ignition. All wired up according to instruction diagram. Worked great for about 2 minutes. Now just bounces around the bottom of the gauge no matter what the RPM. Maybe it couldn't handle 7,000 rpm. Any advice or testing ideas appreciated.
