Had a problem in the paint booth to much air flow over my work area. Only place to paint the rest of the parts was behind the car. Was getting to much trash and stuff in the paint. Built this Plenum for down draft and side draft. Now the area where painting is not so turbulent. Hope this solves the problem Think it will. Have the hood and trunk lid left to paint and small part's. So here is some pic's. Smoke test side panels and floor. IMG_0105.JPG IMG_0106.JPG IMG_0107.JPG IMG_0108.JPG IMG_0109.JPG

Great idea Russ. Had opposite problem with wood stove after putting heatilator in Vent pipe, cut way down on draft but great heat flow. Just cracked open front cover, come up with this safety latch thing and works fine. Closed completely most of the burn sessions of coarse. Stove is strange, can actually put hand on it and is hot but won’t burn yourself. Lined with these refractory bricks, so damn heavy had to take it apart to get in basement...... month later was Icestorm ‘98, hmm.

Thanks Rich I hope all the effort work's. Really need to do something it is a pain to paint something then have to wet sand it down again. But us guy's don't give up. Will see in a couple of day's after wet sanding it down again then spray on new primer coat. Their is still many small part's to paint yet. It is as much trouble to paint small's as a big part. Yes those heat bricks are amazing how they can deflect the heat. Sort of like the heat tiles on the space shuttle. But much more weight than shuttle tiles. Well wait and see what happens Russ.

Was no work when getting home from the service. Worked as a framing carpenter for a few year's then they used me to do finish work. It is in my blood our heritage goes back we did machinist work- building-farming like most American our fore fathers had to do a little of every thing. But I hate book work love hand's on project's. Thanks Big Block.

I'm like you! I do not like bookwork or paperwork! I like to see somebody do something and then that is where I learned, from just watching to see what they do or do it myself and watch how I take it apart so I can put it back together again. your buddy, Raymond
