Can I fit a six pack under a regular 69 RR Hood?

The car is a 69 RR with a 440 and I want to put a six pack in her without the six-pack hood. Will it work? i did a search fro "six pack hood" and couldn't find anything. It's probably because it has such an obvious answer.

This car is owned by someone from the Brat Pack club over on the east coast of FL and is at the Garlits show quite often. It has a 440 6 BBL setup under the stock hood.

I was kinda thinking that would work since the six barrel air cleaner base mates to the bottom of the hood (I'm talking stock A12 set-up here) - so it seemed to me like it should - but I had never done it nor seen it so I figured it best just to keep my yap shut...

So I caught him once, he gives more tech info than most anyone out here and that's the only slip up, pretty damn good.
