Not sure if this is the correct forum, but need to know if there is a way to prevent the starter from engaging if the clutch pedal is not engaged? Wanting to add this as a safety . Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Russ, I saw where there was a switch on the 70 RoadRunners, but didn’t know if anyone had tried to adapt it to work on a 69 or how much wiring is involved. Thanks for the reply..

you could maybe use an old ford brake switch as it goes over the bolt for the pedal and use it as a brake in the ground for the starter solenoid
