Fan clutch pro’s vs con’s…if any?

I don’t believe I’ve ever had a vehicle with a fan clutch. I have seen them on other old cars,but not sure how it works and if it’s more good than not. My big block runs quite warm,but 110* doesn’t help either…. Thanks!

No fan clutch for me. Straight drive. Had some bad thing's with clutch fans in the past. Each to his own is all I can say. Yes, the hot weather is trying on these big blocks. Their made to drive and not sit in traffic.

I live in the desert, so I used a 160 thermostat and a high RPM electric fan. Seems good enough for 100+ days.
