hello from ny ran my car yesterday and while putting it in drive noticed that the compression pin which locks column shifter lever came through whole at top. bit of advice DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TAP IT IN WITH HAMMER! instead line up top and bottom holes,grease pin, and squeeze pin with needlenose pliers using same size bolt to gently tap it back in place. use a SMALL metal hammer. don't know how often this happens but with old cars anything is possible hope this helps if you ever experience this mikerr
