Looking to re-cover the lower dash trim (which has seen better days) on my '69. The car started life in F8 Ivy green but was repainted by the previous owner to F5 Limelight green (which I like better anyway). The lower dash trim is dark green, which as I remember, was the only shade of green available regardless of whether the green exterior color was F3, F5, or F8. Is my memory correct or did the interior trim color on the lower dash panel (and glove box) vary to match the exterior shade? Also, I want to repaint the ash tray, and I'm assuming that the paint color should essentially match the lower dash trim and glove box trim color. Will appreciate advice on all of this.
