I have installed a holley electric fuel pump. I am trying to install a oil pressure safety switch. The instructions say connect one wire to the Ignition and one wire to the start, the third goes to the relay for the pump. I can connect either of these two wires directly to the battery and the pump runs. My problem is connecting the these two wires to the ignition relay on the firewall. Seems voltage is too low to trip the relay. I would prefer not to install any manual switches. Car starts and runs fine. Does anyone know what the voltage should be on the ignition relay? Is there a better place to connect these wires. Thanks for reading.
