Just one thing, when checking OD on say ‘68-‘69 be sure to note there is no digit for over 99,999 miles. Mileage will revert back to 00,000 miles. As my car: showed 75K miles on OD but was 175K miles. Dealer listed as mileage unknown...... Be careful.

I was told that when it rolled over that the number's won't line up in a straight line. Maybe that is just an old wise tale.

That could be possible Russ; as far as I can recall they lined up pretty good; not showing half a digit or wrong numbers, must be some that will do that though; or those were mechanical also, easy enough to disconnect I ‘spose.

But wait, I didn’t buy mine with 175K miles; traded for ‘Lil Red Express. Saw car after and even my jaw dropped, new paint and all. Could really hear the choppy cam when idling, ended up in farmer’s field with spoiler karate chopped
