New member - Always wanted a RR, now might be able to buy one

Hey, new member, Bob, here. Looking at buying a RR but have several questions.
"You dont know what you don't know"
Is there a crash course on VINs, and numbers match knowledge.
Want to make sure I'm not getting screwed as I look for a RR

Welcome aboard. Got my runner over a year ago. Had vin number but no finder tag. So I am building it the way I want it. Came with an manual transmission but someone had put a Automatic in it. So putting the 833 back in. Many guy's here have a lot more info than I do. Their where some for sale in the sales forum. Good luck.
