Great pics, Big. Thanks for sharing.
I liked the white S-Bird with the poverty caps. Sometimes less is more...
What did Joe Medwick do to the bird that prompts you to add that comment? Did he change the color, drivetrain, or interior appointments? Just curious. Nice looking bird.
While he kept the Petty blue, he changed the top and nose to white. There's a few more little personal touches here and there, but none that jump out like the top. None of the Superbirds came with a white top or nose. He has the attitude of "its my car" and its just refreshing to hear that.
Keep in mind, this guy bought a Hemi Challenger SE brand new. It was original paint with custom airbrushing here and there that was done in the early seventies. He drove the car on the street and drag raced it up until a couple years ago when he started a complete resto on the car. How many guys would take a super rare car like that and actually do something with it besides back it in and out of their trailer?
It will probably be used a little easier once its done, but I wouldn't be suprised if it comes out of the paint shop with the airbrushed graphics on it again!
